The Air Jordan Retro 5 “Wings” translates the importance of childhood education into something tangible with sneakers of true significance. Created as part of the Jordan WINGS program, this kid’s sneaker mimics the men’s Jordan sneaker with sketches from city streets, inspirational text, and mint green highlights on the shoe’s shark teeth and lace stays. A wings-style graphic on the quarter panel replaces the sneaker’s standard perforations. Michael Jordan has gifted full college scholarships to over 200 high school seniors over the course of the initiative.
